Property Update

We have a drain that collects all the run-off of rain from our two large basketball courts. The drain is filled with loose rocks that slow the flow of water and help prevent erosion of dirt that would then collect in the storm-water drain and cause blockages.

Those rocks are tempting to our little ones and end up causing a host of problems, including often ending up on our field - bad for our mowing contractor. They have sharp edges - recently causing a cut on a little girl's foot that required stitches.

Enter one of our dads - Presley Matthes. He is a builder we have regularly used - and we absolutely love the quality of his work.

His solution to our problem is a perfect example - see below.
