Maori Whanau Hui

Last Tuesday afternoon we hosted our Maori Community Whanau and our Kapa Haka Ropu Whanau at school.

Our outdoor stage was the perfect venue - with tiered audience seating and a big performance stage more than big enough for our Kapa Haka kids.

We had a fantastic turn out of whanau. Our kids sang and performed with passion, poise and pride, and the sausages cooked by Chef Tim and Chef Abdel were a big hit.

It was cool to korero with our families and hopefully this will become a bit of a regular occurrence from now.
