Positive Climate for Learning

National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA)

The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative, connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.

On Friday the 19th March 2021 Greensborough College acknowledged this day by creating slogans and messages of positive affirmations in chalk in our plaza area during lunch time. This day is important to highlight that we do not tolerate any sort of bullying or violence, all students and staff deserve respect and kindness.

Students were happily involved in creating different types of messages and drawings and this sparked conversations of how we stand up for others and support for one another when we witness bullying.

Please see below photos of the creative colours and messages.

Jack Joynson

Hi, my name is Jack Joynson and I have the privilege to join the Greensborough College Student Wellbeing Team as the new Youth Worker. I am 27 years old and have lived in Yarrambat most of my life. I am passionate about my cricket, seeing growth in others and the beach, just to name a few.

I am looking forward to running lunchtime activities with students and meeting them in the Wellbeing Centre. I am thrilled to be a part of the community and looking forward to supporting your students.
