Public speaking: Debater’s Association of Victoria

This week, 4 students from Wantirna College entered the public speaking competition run by the Debater’s Association of Victoria. Last year, due to COVID, a number of the face-to-face competitions were cancelled. In 2021, for the first time, the DAV is offering an online competition. On Wednesday 21st April, the students filmed their speeches and submitted them to the DAV for judging. 

We wish our public speakers Milly Saffron (year 8), Angel Santhosh (year 9), Tameka Lewis (year 10), and Elijana Henry (year 10) all the best for the competition!
