Canteen Module in Compass

At Wantirna, our canteen is called 'The Orchard' which gets its name from the orchards that originally stood in its place. The Orchard is proudly operated by Bocca Foods who provide an online ordering system for their menu - please refer to www.boccafoods.com.au.

We will, however, shortly see a Canteen menu appear on Compass. This area will allow students and parents to order/pay for other general school supplies that may be needed from time to time. This will include, for example, replacement padlocks, replacement laptop chargers, insurance premiums for damaged laptops, photocopy credits and College yearbooks, and in doing so brings the convenience for parents to be able to make those payments remotely and in real time when a student may not have money with them at school.  We may also use it for curriculum activities where students will provide as part of their studies an in-house lunch service or event to a limited audience under the direction of teaching staff.

When the option appears, if you venture into the system, you will see it always prompts for you to select a ‘sitting’ date. As we won’t be using it for food orders, there will only ever be just the one sitting. More information will be distributed as options are added.
