Fruity Crumble Slice

Today in Cooking we made a Fruity Crumble Slice. They were very enjoyable to make while we also had a comical time talking with our group.

First we put apples, cherry guava and lemon guava jam to make a compote. It smelt delicious, it felt like we were in heaven. A few of us got sunflower seeds, oats and a few more mixtures to blend with butter and egg. Donny and Sena mixed it with their hands and the big sticky ball of dough felt like playdough mixed with slime.

After the dough was made we spread it into a tin pan with baking paper. It looked like a sandy beach with seashells smashed on the shore. After this, we put a layer of fruity compote and another layer of dough. It smells like cinnamon doughnuts mixed with juicy apple pie.

Sarah, Sena, Xuka, Donny and Ayom picked up the coconut pieces and sprinkled it onto the fruity crumble. It looked like a pile of snow and ice.

Lemongrass and lemon verbena tea

For tea, we put lemongrass and lemon verbena on the stove with hot water and let it boil. As everyone took a bite of our delicious meal, we all felt like our troubles went away.

It tasted like a 9/10

Everyones rating:

Sena = 7.5/10

Xuka = 8.5/10

Donny = 8/10

Sarah = 11/10

Ayom 10/10

Overall 9/10!
