On Wednesday night our College held an open night, with lots of parents and students from all year levels visiting the Wurrin, Malgobila and new Nerran (Science) buildings.
Current (2023) Year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to explore the subjects on offer at our College to support future career opportunities. We had teachers from all Key Learning Areas on site to chat with students and families. Representatives from TAFE, AGA and Headstart were also available to answer questions students and families had around future pathways.
Student and parent subject selection information conferences can be booked via Compass for the following dates - 7th, 13th and 14th June from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
If you have any issues with making a booking please refer to the Compass handbook by clicking on the link below or give us a call.

Construction Induction Card training
Cody and Beau were part of a group of students that successfully completed their Construction Induction Card training at school.
Wow we are already talking about Year 11 for these students, it is now time to discuss and make decisions regarding 2024. Students were given lots of information about which pathway they can take - VCE and VCE Vocational major and VET pathways during an assembly.
If you have any questions around pathways for 2024 please contact us in the Hub.
Year 11 VCE Food Choices
Students have been busy in their VCE Food choices preparing Italian meatball subs and sushi bowls with soy glazed tofu. Which one would you choose?
Year 12 PE
Gippsland Tech School ran an incursion for our Year 12 PE classes. They had some amazing ‘high tech’ equipment and students participated in a range of activities including VO2 max tests.
The days are getting colder and our College has lots of winter uniform options to keep students warm.
Track suit pants and hoodies are not part of our uniform.
The hub can help with obtaining any items students might need for the colder months. Please contact the hub if you would like some assistance with uniform items.
Uniform items can be purchased from SWF.
Second hand uniform
Please donate your unwanted school uniform, it can be dropped at the office or the hub.
The Senior Hub would like to remind students and parents/carers of the BSC VCE and VCAL Assessment Policy, specifically in regards to approved absences and the required documentation that students need to provide to maintain the required 90%VCE/VCE VM approved attendance. Please click on the Policy below for more information.
Given the importance of attendance at school, we encourage students and parents/carers to monitor attendance on Compass and to contact the College to ensure all approved absences are properly recorded.
