Subject Selections - Year 10 (2024)

From Week 4, Year 9 students started the process of selecting subjects for 2024 classes. This is an important process with a number of steps as students move toward choosing a more distinct pathway for their senior studies.

There was an assembly held on Thursday 25th May, which explained the process to students. Information was sent home about the timelines and structure of this to support students.

Stymie

Stymie empowers young people to ask for help when they need support, or if they are seeing or experiencing harm.

Stymie provides online reporting for schools. Encrypted, anonymous notifications are delivered within seconds to authorised recipients, who respond according to their wellbeing framework. The notification provides the option to include screenshots or images that validate the notification.

Stymie is available to students to support psychological safety by empowering young people with the self-belief that they can #saysomething on behalf of themselves or as a bystander for someone else.
