Garden Club
Garden Club started today and we had lots of students from all year levels join in and help the Year 5 leaders weed the indigenous garden on the Herbert Street side of BPS. Garden Club runs every Wednesday at lunchtime.
Sustainability Dress-up Day
Next Friday, we are holding a gold coin donation, Sustainability Dress-up Day. The funds received will be allocated to the rebuild and refurbishment of our chicken coop.

Dress: Sustainable Examples:
- Partner dress-up - yin and yang: the sustainable vs the landfill.
- Dress like an animal – this could be an animal you like or an animal facing extinction (conservation).
- Wear some eco-fashion/sustainable outfits – ethical brands, recycled op-shop clothes, or hand me downs.
- Nature themed dress-up – dress as something from the natural environment. Examples: trees, plants, animals, coral reef, marine life, ocean, mountain etc.
- Wear something homemade/upcycled - e.g hat, badge, necklace, outfit etc.
- Dress up as an advocate for the environment – David Attenborough, Jane Goodall etc.
