Middle Years

Well done to all of our Year 7, 8 and 9 students on making it through another year!

It has been a difficult year on a number of fronts, however, it has been great to see everyone taking on the challenge and excelling.  Even with all the disruptions of lockdowns we have still had several highlights for our Middle Years students throughout the year. 

This includes the Year 7 Transition Camp at Campaspe Downs where students had the opportunities to build new friendships and relationships with their peers and teachers.  

The Year 8 Challenge Week, where students were pushed outside their comfort zones and tested themselves in a variety of activities, including tree surfing, bike ride and stand-up paddle boarding.  

The Year 9 Camps where students ventured across the state to participate in new and exciting experiences.

As we move towards the end of 2021, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of our community for their amazing perseverance and hard work over the past 12 months.  In particular, I would like to thank our Middle Years Team for the great work they have done to support our students.  A number of our team members will be taking on new opportunities at our school or other schools or taking on new challenges.  As a school community we could not have asked for a better team of individuals to work with our students, parents and teachers.  They all work passionately to support our students and show a level of care and compassion second to none.  It will be sad to see them leave the Middle Years Team, however, it will also be exciting to see them take on the new challenges that face them.
