NEW - 3/4 Update

In Grade 3/4 we have been learning about the different persuasive techniques that are used in advertisements. We watched some ads from the TV and were able to identify the different features. We then created our own ads for a new or improved product. It was so amazing to see so many creative ideas.

We were also lucky to have Yasmin share about Diwali with us. Below is what she shared with us:

Around the world, people are lighting fireworks and dressing up their houses with colourful decor. This is Diwali, the festival of lights. The word Diwali was inspired by the word deepavali. This festival is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Indians. Diwali is a five day festival celebrated in Autumn each year. It represents good over evil. This is the day the Indian emperor Ashoka converted to Buddhism. That is what Diwali is.

For Maths, we have been looking at angles and how to classify and measure them. We went outside in the sunshine and practised using a protractor. We have also been solving some mystery number puzzles to help us with our place value knowledge.

We have a little challenge for you to do.. We have been making our own Rebus puzzles - see if you can work out what they are!

NEW - School Fees

All outstanding school fees are now required to be finalised, unless you are on a prearranged payment plan. Thank you for your cooperation.
