5/6 Production News

Dear Parents/Parent and Carers,

There will be a dress rehearsal for the speaking role and 5/6 classes, this Thursday 18 November. The 5/6 classes will be rehearsing as well but are not required to wear their costume. Most of the costumes are at school. A note will come home today about extra costume items that are needed from home. This dress rehearsal will happen during school hours. 

Change of venue. We are now performing outside. This is to eliminate the risk of Covid and also, those who are not double vaxxed, can still attend. Sorry, only those parents of 5/6 students can attend to keep our numbers down. There are a few things you must do to keep this event Covid safe:

1. Please use the QR code to sign in. These are located on the office door and on the outside of other buildings within the school grounds.
2. Please adhere to social distancing.
3. Please practise respiratory etiquette and good hand hygiene.

Date: Tuesday 23 Novemeber

Time: Those with speaking roles need to be there by 6:00pm. 

The dance grades need to be there by 6:45pm at the latest.

Where: Blue basketball court at school.

The show will start at 7pm sharp but please have your child/children at the theatre door, at the earlier time mentioned above. The theatre will be the 'green room'/waiting area for the students before they perform. I ask that parents DO NOT enter the theatre as density limits will then be compromised and as a department school, we need to follow the Covid guidelines.

Those with speaking roles need to have their hair and make-up done at home please. Their costumes will stay  at school. Those in the dance grade item, just need to wear all black. E.g. black shirt, black shorts, black leggings, black trousers.

As audience members, please bring a cushion or something similar to sit on, to watch the production, as you will be sitting on the rocks to watch. The sound equipment will be set up and I please ask that you keep away, as we are hiring from a company.
