Grade 1/2

There was a buzz in the air on Tuesday, as we celebrated Italian Day. It was amazing to see so many of our students dressed up in costume or Italian colours, as well as many faces (and arms) painted. Even the teachers got into the spirit of the day! A big thank you to Ginevra for organising such a fun day and to Mrs Thornton, Mrs Clarke, Mrs Jenes and Mrs M for all the activities you ran.

In Grade 2, the students were given a challenge to create something using spaghetti pasta. Bonus points were given if the creation was Italian themed! They made gelato, a soccer pitch, gondola, flags and pizza just to name a few. Other students enjoyed creating 3D shapes such as pyramids and rectangular prisms.
