Week 6

2021 ITALIAN DAY @ ACPS

Ciao a tutti!

ACPS held its 2021 Italian Day/ FESTA ITALIANA on Tuesday 9th November.

We had such a wonderful day (the weather was lovely too, very lucky!!) celebrating Italian culture through art, music, language and sports. Students came to school bringing happiness, enthusiasm and creativity (incredible outfits out there!!).

All classes rotated during the day and enjoyed the activities organized and run by the Specialists teachers. We had a sweet surprise at lunch time when the gelato van arrived at school, so many excited faces, staff included!!

We finished off the day watching the movie "LUCA", which is a lovely story set in the region where I come from, Liguria. Best way to wrap up such a great day!

From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the Specialist team, who helped running the classes, providing fun and Italian inspired activities for the students and the classroom teachers, who embraced and supported the celebrations.

A big GRAZIE goes also to all the amazing students at ACPS who showed great respect and cultural appreciation during this special day, SIETE MERAVIGLIOSI/E!
