First Eucharist

For the third time this year we have set dates to celebrate First Eucharist with our Year 4 & Year 5 students! 

It was with great joy that a Flexibuzz was sent out to families inviting them to call the office to book a Mass time.

• Wednesday 24th November 5:30pm & 7pm
• Thursday 25th November 5:30pm & 7pm

Each family can have 5 guests not including the First Eucharist candidate, so 6 in total. It is a condition that all people, over 16, attending these masses is double vaccinated. If this is an issue for families then we have asked that you ring the Office to let us know and we will be arranging an alternative Mass time or times. More details will follow once we know how many families this will involve.

When entering the Church to celebrate First Eucharist, everyone will need to check in using the QR code and show their vaccination status. This is the condition in which our Churches are allowed to open up according to the Victorian Road Map. The limit of a double vaccinated congregation is 100 based on the size of Christ Our Holy Redeemer Church. A congregation where the vaccination status is unknown is limited to 30.

So let us all pray with great joy that our children will be able to join in the celebration of this most sacred step of their faith journey.
