Student Wellbeing

Term 4

Transition  Day

This week we held Orientation for the 2022 class placements with great success. As students moved to their new classes with some excitement, some curiosity and some nerves, we observed the students in their new classes begin to form bonds with familiar faces and some new peers. After the last 24 months, our students and staff are focused on having a consistent, regular program offered onsite at Concord School. We welcomed a number of new students and also some new class teachers. Staff reported that students were enthusiastic and positive about the year ahead.

Thank you to all the students on their optimistic approach to their new class and to the teachers for planning and preparing activities to begin building that vital safe and inclusive classroom environment. We look forward to 2022!

See You in 2022

As the 2021 school year ends, I couldn’t be any prouder of the Concord School students and staff.  In another year that has thrown us so many curveballs, I have seen all the students mature, develop independence and improve their skills across various contexts.

I wish to thank all the Concord School staff, our parents and carers, and the extended support networks that continue to enable our students in becoming the best they can be.

I wish you all a safe and relaxing break and look forward to 2022!

Cheers,
