What an incredible year it has been. In spite of the many challenges we encountered, we have achieved amazing things together. I am constantly impressed by the resilience of our students. 2021 has highlighted the importance of connection with others. One of the best parts of the year has been hearing students back on-site after spending time apart. All of our students have worked hard and persisted through some pretty challenging times. 

I have consistently communicated this year about the importance of the partnership between home and school. Thank you to all parents and carers for the unwavering support you have provided at all times, particularly during periods of extended lockdown.

Thanks to the parent members of our College Council, Beth Mellick, Paul O’Connor, Liz Grainger, Jess Howard, Brona Murray, Jodi Oakman, and Rachael Cooper. Their hard work and support of CSC is greatly appreciated. I would also like to thank our DET members, Paula Jenkins, Shera Blaise, Angela Sutton and Justin Hird. It is important to also acknowledge the work of the Executive of College: Beth Mellick, Liz Grainger and Paul O’Connor for the work they have done.  I thank them for their dedication in making this role on College Council a priority.

Finally, to all our dedicated staff at CSC – thank you. The work they have done to support all students to achieve their best has been exemplary. I am sure you will join me in thanking them for their professionalism and support.

Have a well-deserved break over the holiday period.  I hope you get time to spend some quality time with family and friends. I wish you all the best for the future and will watch with great interest the progress of CSC in the coming years.
