The end of an incredibly busy term is in sight! We are spending our last few weeks in the Robotics room applying the semester's learning to build creative projects. Although this subject is called Robotics, it is really a course in Creativity, Collaboration, Communication and Critical thinking.
Using the Lego WeDo 2.0 robotics kits, students were able to create their own projects. Year Four students Wijdan and Eric designed, built and coded their own vehicle, while Jisha and Xinyan created a robotic cat with a moving tail. Year Two student Summer created a motorised creature and coded it to move across the table.
Junior students worked on coding projects using the Scratch Junior app. Year Two students Emily and Arush created their own interactive animated stories with a Christmas theme.
It is fantastic to see these end of semester projects which celebrate our students' learning. I am so proud of the creativity and effort that has gone into this work. Well done everyone!
