Leadership @ MPS

Remote Learning

Well done on completing another round of Remote  Learning, our fourth since the beginning of the pandemic. We feel that our most recent model of RL has been our most successful. The balance between live lessons/whole class meeting times, and the flexibility in the use of choice boards seems to have hit the sweet spot for many.

Thank you to those families that provided words of thanks and encouragement, treats, coffee vouchers and the like to our staff during this period. Just amazing!

Our Monty students have again, been outstanding in their effort, engagement, resilience and positivity through RL 4.0.  Well done, Team Monty!

Men's Health Week

Next week is Men's Health Week and a week that resonates for many of us. It is an opportunity for us as a community to focus on health issues, including mental health and wellbeing. Men's Health Week aims to provoke discussion about the inequalities in male health and wellbeing, and what can be done to improve male health outcomes. Please have a read of our Men's Health Week page further down, to find out more. We are currently working on a plan that will see us action the beginnings of a Monty PS Men's Group - we will keep you updated.

Camp Update

At this stage it appears that our Grade 5/6 camp will go ahead at the end of this term.

Mr Josh has been in contact with the camp and we are doing everything in our power to give our students a camp experience! We will be holding a Camp info session/update on Wednesday 16th June at 4:15pm via Webex. Please keep an eye out for further information.
