Simultaneous Story Time...from space! Wednesday, May 19, 11am

This year the NSS 2021 book (Give me some space by Philip Bunting) is read by the astronaut Dr Shannon Walker from the International Space Station.

All grades will be able to watch this on the day and read copies of the book from Monday, May 17.

National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.

Book reviews

The fantastic library leaders have reviewed some books.

Lucy  was very brave and reviewed D'Lila La Rue, in front of the camera and Jayden and Esther's reviews are attached.

Jayden reviewed Alphabeasts, a non-fiction title, and gave it 4.5 stars out of 5.

Esther reviewed Amari and the Night Brothers by B.B. Alston, a new fiction title and gave it 5 stars.
