GARDEN CLUB

Garden club last Friday brought pretty brisk weather but the children didn't seem to feel it!  They got hands on pulling out old potato plants (and even found one or two potatoes!!).  They had a go at sowing silverbeet and spinach seeds so we can look forward to harvesting them in three months time.   The seedlings we put in the previous garden club are coming along nicely and no doubt have enjoyed the recent rains.

Ned, our garden club scarecrow from last year seems to be laying down on the job after a tough year just gone - the children will be able to help him back on his feet in coming sessions.

Until next time, your friends at the garden club

Faith, Robyn, Sasha, Michelle and Julie
