Talent Quest 2021

One of the most popular events on the college calendar is our Talent Quest and it was great to see our students return to the live stage this year after last year’s virtual event. 

After a fun filled show in front of the whole school on Founders Day our students performed in front of their families and our guest judges last Thursday Night. It was a special evening that culminated in the presentation of trophies to the following winners:

Best Vocal Solo: Merhaba Masho “One night only”

Best Dance: Sherlyn Antony “Bollywood Fusion”

Best Vocal Duet: Reese Castillo & Tristan Longmuir “Red like Roses Part 2”

Best Instrumental: Aliah Rigo “When the party’s over”

Encouragement Award: Royce D’Mello “Can’t stop this feeling”

OVERALL WINNER: Chrishni Fernando “Tell me why” (original composition)

Special thanks to our hosts Ms Angelique Phillip-Kemp & Mr Eamonn Farrelly who did a great job introducing our acts, our amazing backstage crew Mr Michael Perryman, Ms Anne Aldis, Montana Owen and Guy Mehegan and to our wonderful judges Monica Nguyen, Savannah Paul and Reese Lawlor who returned to St John’s for the night.

Most importantly, I’d like to acknowledge and congratulate our talented students who entertained us so beautifully.
