Student Pickup from Back Gate

Due to the large number of parents who are choosing to pick up students at the Game Street gate during afternoon pick up times, it is vital that parents assist younger students to access vehicles.  We are now posting a yard duty teacher at the gate to make sure students only leave the school grounds after their parents turn up.  To ensure the safety of all students, we strongly urge parents of younger children to leave their cars once they are parked and wait for children at the gate.  Parents can then safely escort children to their cars.

Year 9/10 Coaching Winter Sports for 5/6 Students

As a part of their elective, Mr. Willison’s Year 9/10 ‘Active Life For Boys’ group have been mentoring the 5/6 students in preparation for the Winter Sport competition.  The secondary students have been running various drills for the four different sports: Football, Netball, Soccer and Hockey.  It has been great to see the Year 9/10 boys displaying great leadership skills whilst working with the 5/6 students.  They have thoroughly enjoyed working with and improving their skills with the older students.

Dogs on School Grounds

If you are bringing a dog to school at pick-up or drop-off times please make sure it is on a lead and that you wait outside the gate for your child/ren.  We have students with allergies and some students that are very nervous around dogs. Thank you.

Winter Uniform

With the weather starting to cool it is important students wear the full school uniform that is appropriate for Winter. This consists of the school jumper/s and jacket, warm black pants and black tights/stockings to wear under the school skirt/dress. Only plain white or plain  black shirts are acceptable to be worn under the school polo top. Hoodies are NOT to be worn at school.

School Pick up

At the end of the school day, parents are requested to wait outside Learning Centres while classes are still operating. If parents need to speak with a teacher please contact Heather Collihole on 50252501 and a time will be arranged. The primary end of day bell is at 3:12pm.

There are also a LOT of containers and drink bottles too.
