Feast Of The Most Sacred Heart Food Drive

This week we gather for the feast of the Most Sacred Heart. A day when we remember that as Catholics we are called to service - to offer ourselves to help others. 

One thing that we are hoping to support is the local Food Bank. Families in our local community can help. Over the next few weeks, we are collecting non-perishable food items to support families in our local community. The collection will be taken to the Gisborne Food Bank. If you can, we ask that you bring non-perishable items that can be donated to the Food Bank in support of these families. In this way, we are living the word of the lord, and being of service with others.

Together we really do make a difference.

Twice a week Mini Vinnies will come and collect the food from the learning area. They will complete a tally with the number of items and share at the end of the week. Although it is not about winning, it is about giving, what can, if you can, when you can.
