The aim of this page is to promote our 'small school with a big heart' to the wider community by showcasing events, insights and learning experiences. Japanese Through Sustainability

In Japanese through Sustainability, the Years 3-6 students are working on their own choice of project in small groups. Five groups have combined to each take a part of an overall Japanese-inspired Garden extending from the hall through to the rockpit and are all working on different elements. We have chosen a variety of plants to incorporate, however there is a big expense involved in creating this calm, inviting and cultural space for our school.

To bring our ideas to fruition, we are appealing to and inviting our families to sponsor a plant from our list or make a small contribution towards our plant purchases overall. We have included a very optimistic wish list and are hoping to gather any donations over the next fortnight. Donations or plant sponsorship can be handed into the office, into our special Japanese Garden donation box. Our aim is to complete this garden by the end of term so we have the rest of the year to enjoy it.
