Cricket Victoria - Girls Leadership Breakfast

Students who completed the Girls Online Leadership course, run by Cricket Victoria, today got to attend a breakfast to celebrate their achievements and hear from women involved in sports and leadership. The event was hosted by Bobby Macumber, a comedian and TV presenter. The panellists' included Kim Garth, a former Irish Cricket captain and WBBL player, Sophie Day; a current WBBL player & Isobel Anstey; a current basketballer who has represented Australia at the world championships and has recently taken a contract from UCLA in America. The girls spoke about their triumphs and challenges along each of their journey of being involved in sport and leadership. Their presentations were insightful and inspiring to the students striving to be involved in future leadership. Our students got to connect with students from other schools and share how they have been involved in leadership throughout their schooling. Well done to the girls involved.
