From the Office

This week teachers are beginning to write semester 1 student reports. These reports take considerable time and effort. Reports will be coming home on Wednesday 23rd of June. Reports will be published in digital format on Sentral. If you would prefer a printed copy, could you please let your child’s classroom teacher know. Thanks 😊

COVID Update

Just a quick COVID regulation note. The presence of COVID 19 does require us to put measures in place once again. The DET and Health Departments ask that parents / carers and the community (other than essential workers) remain off-site. This means parents / carers are to drop off and pick up outside the schools grounds. Our staff will ask that adults remain at the gates and do not enter the school grounds. You are able to enter the school office – numbers of adults will be limited to the correct square metre requirements. Essential workers will be required to sign-in and QR Code upon entry. Thank you for your assistance with this during these challenging times.

Grade 6 Destinations

Dear Parents and Guardians of Grade 6 students, We ask that you please contact your child's teacher or the school to notify them of which school your child will be attending in 2022. Some enrolment forms are available at school for those who still need to fill these out. They are also available at Echuca College. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact the school.Thank you for your cooperation.

Dogs Connect

Echuca Twin Rivers School is very excited to be joining the Dogs Connect program. Dogs Connect is an innovative learning program, introducing a dog to the school environment. It is part of a program designed to help social and emotional learning while focusing on the well-being of students by introducing a dog into the classroom.

We are extremely lucky to be getting two dogs for our school: a male Poodle called Bernie who will start learning his role this term and a female Groodle who will start at the beginning of term 3.

Families who would like to know more about the program head to the website for a look: https://dogsconnect.net.au

This program is implemented very gradually, no one has to be involved if they don't want to, more info is coming in the days/weeks to come.
