Message from Governing Council 

 Hello everyone

To be honest, I have struggled with what to write for this newsletter.  We are all aware that these are difficult times for everyone.  I believe that it is vitally important for everyone to recognise the pressure that people are under currently and treat each other with kindness and respect at all times.

In line with that, I need to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Para Vista Preschool and Primary.  They have gone above and beyond to ensure that our children have tailored learning packs for their educational needs for the next few weeks.  These packs were created and assembled on top of the everyday demands of teaching or support role workloads, with everyone giving up their own time to get it all done.  We are extremely lucky to have these dedicated people supporting and educating our children.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that even though this is a challenging time to be a parent, we are lucky that we live in a time where we can connect with others through technology.  Make the effort to call loved ones, use video chat options so your child/children can see that family or friends are doing ok, connect thoughtfully with friends by text message or other messaging means. 

Our school spirit is strong and by supporting each other, even from distance, we will achieve great things.
