Favourite Sport:Not a big sports fan but do like walking and generally walk everyday.
Favourite Music:

Lots of different genres on my playlist! Some of my favourites include Reggae, traditional Italian folk songs and anything 70’s, or a good old

Name:Bernadette O'Sullivan
Role:Leading Teacher (Transitions & Partnerships)
How long have you worked at Jackson?Nearly 5 years.  I started in July, 2018.
Where are you from?I was born in Melbourne and my childhood was spent in Ascot Vale with my 11 siblings. My great grandparents came to Australia from Ireland.
Likes & Interests:I like to travel and meet new people – everyone has such interesting stories.  I have mainly taught in mainstream schools, however, my love of adventure has seen me teach in different cultural settings. I spent 2 years in an aboriginal community in the Kimberley at the top of Western Australia, 7 years in Sharjah in the Middle East and a year in Vietnam. The travel opportunities from these places was fantastic and I got to have many unique experiences and meet many interesting people.  I also like reading and word games and enjoy music and going to the theatre
Dislikes:I dislike bad manners – manners are free and are important. I also dislike people who stand still on travelators – there is much to do and I want to keep moving.
Favourite Sport:I played netball for many years but these days I enjoy pilates and walking. I come from a sports loving and sports playing family so I have an appreciation of a wide range of sports which I also enjoy watching.
Favourite Music:I have an eclectic taste in music, but you cant beat the music from the 70’s and 80’s. I love listening to Spotify as I walk, and often can be guilty of singing out too loud to myself!
