MARKET DAY IN MAY – Friday May 12, 2023
Our Market Day in May is fast approaching! Come along next Friday 12th May and support our student stall holders who have been busily preparing, baking and crafting. We will have stalls selling craft, second hand items (toys and books) and baked goods.
The market will kick off at 4.30pm so bring the extended family, check out how creative our Windsor Primary community is, and then enjoy a sausage sizzle dinner, we will even have ice-creams for dessert. Sausages will be on sale from 5.30pm.
Cash is preferred on the night, all money raised on the night will go towards funding our edible garden.
It will be a great event so look forward to seeing everyone there!
If you have any questions, or would like to get involved, please contact Sarah on 0400 023 224.
ICE CREAM FRIDAY – 3.30pm at the Food Tech Window – FINAL WEEK
Bring along your $2 this Friday and they will be available for purchase at 3.30pm from the Food Tech Window.
All profits will go towards planting out our new Community Edible Garden which is located along the end wall of the ELC Building. The P&F Committee are very excited to be able to finance this special space that the entire community will continue to enjoy.
Thank you to Woolworths Prahran for donating the ice creams each week over the past term.
TOASTIES TUESDAY LUNCH ORDERS
You can order your cheese toasties for lunch each Tuesday. Simply bring along your $2 and give it to your teacher at roll call and the toasties will be delivered to the classrooms at lunchtime.
Thank you to our parents who are prepping and cooking each week to make this all happen.
Also, a big thank you to Woolworths Prahran for donating all the supplies needed to make the toasties each week.
The profits from the first couple of weeks of toasties will be paying for some much-needed new paint brushes in the Art Room. The rest of the term profits will pay for a new BBQ that will be put to good use over the coming years during many future events at the school. Once they arrive then we will post a photo to share with everyone.
Have you thought of a great fundraising idea that you would like to organise for WPS? We would love to hear from you and are happy to support you in getting it organised!
