YEAR 3 - 6 News 

Yr 3 - 6 Cross Country Event

On Wednesday May 3rd the 3-6 students participated in our Cross Country trial event held at Chris Gahan Reserve. The students were wearing their house colours and were trying to run as many laps as they could to win house points for their houses. 18 students have been selected to compete for Windsor Primary School on May 19th at the District Cross Country event. 

The 2023 WPS Cross Country Team includes:

8, 9, 10-year-old girls: Katie, Ruby, Arianna, Catrina, Magdalena 

8, 9, 10-year-old boys: David, Jackson, Tayden, Sebastien, Senuka, Boul, Charlie S.

11, 12, 13-year-old girls: Emilia, Ella, Ayesha, Leeza

11, 12, 13 year old boys: Henry, Max

Well done to Wattle for winning the house points competition! 

Special mention to the following students who came first in their respective events; 

Arianna and Jackson in the 2km race and Emilia and Henry in the 3km race. 

Jackson was also awarded a sportsmanship medal for his determination during his race as well as encouraging his peers. Well done to all the students who competed on the day!
