Hi there! My name is Nadia and I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian who has recently moved to Orange from Sydney to work for Ward Nutrition - and yes, I think it is absolutely freezing here!
Alongside doing my Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, I worked with kids through my casual role at a gymnasium, as well as tutored children 1:1, with the majority of them having ASD, an intellectual disability and/or a learning difficulty. I find the work really rewarding and I love how each child is so unique. With my experience working with children, I was (and still am) really excited to start my role here at Anson St, to help children with sensory food issues, fussy eating, food allergies/intolerances, diet-related conditions such as IBS, and much more! I also see children privately at Ward Nutrition to help with similar disability-related diet issues.
A little bit about me: I love baking, puzzles, camping, the beach (which I am obviously missing being in Orange which is cold and inland) and sports - namely netball and ultimate frisbee (and I have a black belt in tae kwon do)! As much as I may complain about the cold, my photo album is currently filled with Orange's beautiful Autumn trees, and I have a feeling I will stay in Orange for a long time.
