Morrisby Testing

Thank You!

We just wanted to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to all of our Year 9 staff, students and families for their support of the Mock Interviews and Morrisby Testing. 

On Wednesday last week the Senior Centre was a hive of activity.  It was great to see so many of our students dressing professionally, coming to their interviews prepared to apply for their chosen job and having professional conversations.  Students were also able to take on the constructive feedback given by panel members and will hopefully be able to apply it when they apply for their first job. 

The feedback from the staff and volunteers that supported the program was overwhelmingly positive.  Some reported that these were some of the best Mock Interviews they had ever seen! 

Most students have now completed their Morrisby Testing, however, there are some that still need to complete it.  Please ensure this is completed as soon as possible.  We will be following up with students that have not completed it at the beginning of next term.

Students will be having interviews with Careers Practitioners during Weeks 6 and 9 of Term 2, where they will get the opportunity to unpack their results and start the conversation about pathways and subject selection.  It’s a very exciting time that students love being part of.  More information will be provided in Term 2.
