This term we are working on RESPECT
and we are looking at
I CAN ACCEPT OTHERS AND THEIR DIFFERENCES
There are many things we have in common and share at Cheltenham East Primary School. But there are many ways in which we all differ. Some of us like football, while others prefer netball. Some like maths, others prefer reading books. Some people like to listen to CDs; others like to play on the computer. Some like the Saints and some go for the Bombers. Some of us are tall, some of us are short. Some are strong and some are fast.
In some way or another we are all different and that makes us all the more interesting. It would be pretty boring if everyone went around doing exactly the same thing. It is important that we recognise, accept and respect that we are all different. Everybody belongs! We should celebrate our differences; we are all different from each other; all special and unique.
The above students were rewarded with a CEPS award last week for
'I can be a good friend' skills
The above students were rewarded as our Value Ambassadors for last week. The students worked very hard during the week representing all of our school values - COURTESY RESPECT CO-OPERATION and RESPONSIBILITY.
