Middle & Senior House Cross Country
What a glorious morning we had for the Middle & Senior House Cross Country on Monday,
running through parts of the school and Yarrunga with distances of 3000m and 2000m.
The atmosphere was buzzing with lots of encouragement from the sidelines.
Congratulations to everyone on their efforts and trying their best for themselves and their house.
The winning house this year was Ovens.
We would like to thank all the parents/carers and staff who helped volunteer their time on the day to make the event run smoothly. A special thank you to Stuart Kingma and Chris Broadhurst for leading the races so we didn’t get lost.

From Sophie in Sickbay....
Head lice seem to be making their presence felt around the school at the moment. Please check your children's hair regularly, as vigilance is really the only way to stop the spread of these pesky little critters. If you discover live lice or nits (eggs), please treat appropriately before your child returns to school.
With winter fast approaching, experts are recommending that we all have our Flu vaccinations. These are available now from your doctor or at participating pharmacies. While discussing flu vaccinations with your doctor or pharmacist, it may also be a good time to check whether you are due and eligible for a Covid-19 booster. Despite the fact that we don't see Covid in the headlines any more, there is still plenty out there in the community.
