Campioni Italiani!

Congratulations to all the students in Years 3-6 who competed in the first round of the Education Perfect Italian Competition. The Rowville Championship is held three times per year between Rowville Primary School and Rowville Secondary College. The College has many more students participating and our students did an excellent job answering a total of 65,551 questions with eleven students winning individual awards. Rowville Primary School has now won the first round for the year and at this point we are the custodians of the Rowville Language trophy. 

Our overall class winner was Year 6C – Signorina Coloe’s grade with 11,980, followed by Signoro Gunn’s Year 6A and Signorina Collin’s Year 5A class. 

This competition was also part of the Global Languages Competition that ran at the same time. As a school we should be proud for the following achievements:

27th overall in Italian out of 1,029 schools.

254th overall globally out of 2,532 schools.

36th overall in the 101-250 students' category out of 428 schools.

197th overall in Australia out of 1,783 schools.

58th overall in Victoria out of 413 schools
