St Mary's Catholic College is committed to ensuring all students are supported to achieve success as learners. Our High Potential Learners: Extension & Enrichment program uses inclusive and purposeful pedagogy across the curriculum areas of English, Humanities, Science, and Mathematics to nurture, challenge, and transform the potential of our students into high performance.
I would like to congratulate our 2020 inaugural cohort who have just completed their first assessment in the senior Literature space. Despite only being in Year 10, these daring students accepted the challenge of studying Literature 12 months early. In their first topic of study, students were asked to write an analytical essay responding to Jane Austen’s Persuasion, which is certainly no easy feat.
I would also like to thank and congratulate all of our HPL students and teachers for their hard work in Term 1.
