YR 11

The student of the term for Year 11 is Harriet Berman, a highly dedicated student, always striving to improve her learning. She is proactive in asking questions and contributing to class discussion with high level responses. Harriet is part of the Year 11 Leadership Team and has put in extra time in organising and promoting year level activities. She is also an active member of the Justice Group and her Mentor Group’s fundraiser was a great success. Harriet is heavily involved with Earth at Academy. She represented the College at the Moonlight Cinema event at Melbourne Girls’ College. 

Her contributions in meetings are always thoughtful and her passion for the environment inspires her peers and all members of the Academy community.

YR 12

The student of the term at Year 12, Lucy Ryan, has had an extremely busy start to 2023. She constantly has a smile on her face and is the first person to put her hand up to provide support to any of her peers in need. Lucy is a member of the Senior Student Leadership and regularly provides insights, ideas and lots of energy to our meetings. She shone in her role at both the Swimming Carnival and Athletics Day, providing inspiration for both younger and older Academy students alike. Her idea of the “lolly bucket” at both carnivals was certainly a winner with everybody! Lucy has been involved in and represented the Academy in a number of other sporting activities this term, showing true school spirit.
