SWPBS update

Congratulations to the students who achieved their certificates last week!

We are refocussing students in the first few weeks of term on our whole-school expectations. We are explicitly reviewing expectations like attending to teacher instruction First Time Every Time, listening respectfully in class discussions and the importance of moving from play mode into serious learning mode.

We have been impressed to see students following our expectations to Hear - Act - Line Up at the end of recess and lunch. This is a really important - and quite complex - skill to master, as you can see below.

New Kimochis coming soon.

There are many, many schools and kindergartens taking up the opportunity to engage with students through the Kimochis wellbeing program. This has made it difficult to obtain new Kimochis resources. After some time waiting, we are excited to announce that the final 2 Kimochis are heading to Newham Primary School!
