From the Principal

Term Two Begins

Welcome to Term 2 at GNLC.  Once again I hope that families, students and staff have all had a restful break and are ready to start another term of exciting learning.

As always, our College is striving for success together in education.  Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing the best possible education for families.  We are proud of the achievements of our students, and we look forward to watching them grow and develop throughout this term. Alongside our continued focus on learning we have many other events happening of which many are featured in this newsletter.

This Term scholarship offers will be made and we congratulate all students who continue to strive for their best results, particularly those receiving scholarships. Enrolment offers for places at both the Mambourin and Tarneit campus for 2024 and beyond will be continuing.

Tickets for the Mothers Day Breakfast have now sold out. This will be a special occasion to come together and celebrate the wonderful mothers and carers in our lives. Happy Mothers Day!

“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.’” – Proverbs 31:28-31

We look forward to working with you throughout Term 2 to ensure that our students continue to thrive and achieve their full potential.

We were very proud of our College leaders who represented GNLC at the ANZAC Dawn Service in Werribee, and to Indiana and Sanjana who did a commendable job with their speeches in front of an estimated audience of 8,000 people.  It was a privilege for our students to speak in front of such a large crowd and they did our College very proud.  You can view a small section of their speeches along with other photographs from this event below.
