Frankston High School Chess Championship

The Frankston High School chess tournament took place over five days and concluded on Wednesday 28 November.  Thirty two players competed in 64 elimination rounds.  First place was awarded a chess board, whilst those in second, third and fourth place were awarded canteen vouchers. 

Our champions were:

1st  Ruslan Laishev (Yr 7E)

2nd Noah Sauvola (Yr 7J)

3rd  Prokhor Veresov (Yr 10)

4th James Campbell (Yr 7C)

The Chess Club would like to acknowledge its team captain, James Campbell, for organising the tournament, and thank everyone who chose to participate or spectate during the event.
