Disability League Tag Gala Day
On Thursday 5 September senior students represented Anson Street School at the Disability League Tag Gala Day in Dubbo. Students showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the day, encouraging their team mates and shaking hands with the opposition after each game! Our team finished forth in Division 2! Students received an NRL scarf as a prize for fantastic participation during the day.

Spotlight On - The School Gym
This term for school sport a group of students have been accessing the gym to complete fitness circuits, run by Miss KJ. Students have been working on increasing their cardiovascular fitness and strength by performing a range of exercises, including star jumps, squats, bunny hops, lunges and stretching.

2019 NSW Premier's Sporting Challenge
Our students have participated in the Premier's Sporting Challenge which logs the amount of physical activity completed each day. Congratulations to the Diamond Award winners: Jay Kelland, Danny Keogh, Thomas Adams, Akaydeon Bennett, Kaleb Fischer, Josh Gleeson, Brock Jackson, Cheyenne Rondo, Jackson Uren.
Gold Award winners are Deacon Harding, Adam Burns, Nevaeh Cameron, Isabella Donaghy, Jesse Guise, Heidi Kendall, Lily McGregor, Harrison Bannon, Nelson Emelumba, Declan Gillespie-Dodds, Destiny Matthews, Dante McGovern Plummer, Jacob Richings, Ryan Richings, Marcus Bragg, Chenaimoyo Jachi and Alexander Lloyd.
