Inside the Classroom

Canteen day
Class 8 have been doing Money Smart Math and initiated a Canteen day (making burgers) to put their knowledge into action.
They had to make decisions around quantities and ingredient prices. They looked at marketing and how to package their product for the consumer. The students expressed they learnt to be patient and work as part of a team while making and delivering over seventy (delicious) burgers across the school.
Class 8 would also like to thank Woodward Street Quality Meats for their support.

Class 8 have been working on 3D drawings and creating illusions. They have enjoyed experimenting with shading and colouring to create different effects.
During the week there are opportunities for students to be active climbing, using equipment in the gym and the trampoline in the sensory playground. At other times students' can explore activities for being calm and self-regulating.
Something that Class 8 students do well is help one another and collaborate when a mate needs a hand.
As the term comes to an end students are working together to practice for the upcoming concert.
