Education Minister Inspects Construction

The new Minister for Education, The Honourable Sarah Mitchell, spent the day in Armidale visiting local schools. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to show her all the progress that is being made at the site for the new build.

The Minister was very excited to see the plans for the school and had a great chat with our student leaders.

Construction Update

The demolition of all the buildings intended for demolition is complete.  The bricks and concrete is currently being crushed to be reused as part of the construction and general site levelling is underway. 

Interestingly, nearly 250 tonnes of metal from the demolition has been recycled and the bricks and green waste is being reused on the site in retaining walls and garden mulch.
