AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination)

Staff members and student representatives from East Valley Middle School's AVID program  visited Otis to talk to our 6th grade students. We learned that AVID is an elective option at EVMS where students "spend one period a day receiving the additional academic, social, and emotional support that will help them succeed in their school’s most rigorous courses." - AVID Website
