Positive Education
Colour Your Threads Day
Over the past few weeks, the Wellbeing Leaders have been promoting wellbeing through a myriad of activities and opportunities for all students from Kinder to Year 10. It all culminated with our Colour Your Threads Day on Friday 8 November, which saw all students and staff wearing their brightest most colourful attire, all in the name of Positive Education and the importance of promoting wellbeing among our College Community.
Kinder and Loreto 4 were chosen as the award recipients for 2019.
A big thank you to all those who supported these fun filled days with over $800 being raised for The Butterfly Foundation.

World Kindness Day
It was World Kindness Day on Wednesday 13 November and Year 4 watched a video about the Science of Being Kind.
We found out kindness increases happiness, energy, pleasure, your lifespan, and the 'feel good' hormone, serotonin. It decreases pain, stress, anxiety, depression and your blood pressure. We decided to make a goal - to do 100 acts of kindness in one day. We recorded them on sticky notes, it was easy! We ended up with 101 Acts of Kindness.
