Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Friends,

Next week we will mark two significant events marking the beginning of Lent, Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. Working through the latest restriction updates is still occurring, however, we are very excited to plan for a pancake breakfast this coming Tuesday morning. (See below for details.)

Shrove Tuesday

Parents and family members are invited to join us for a pancake breakfast next Tuesday morning, 1st March.

• Time: 7:30-9:00am
• Location: Outside areas 
• Cost: Donation- Money raised will go to Caritas Australia  https://www.caritas.org.au/. As the international aid and development agency of the Australian Catholic Church, Caritas is driven by social justice and the dignity of every person. They work with local communities in Australia and overseas, listening to concerns, assessing needs and working with partners on locally-led development programs. 
• Covid Protocols: Vaccination, distancing and mask protocols to be followed.

Ash Wednesday

Next Wednesday our students will participate in an Ash Wednesday liturgy, led by Father Mike. 

Given the changes to restrictions, we plan for classes to attend masses this term, and we will look to finalise a Beginning of Year School Mass when appropriate.

Footy Clinics

Next Thursday, 3rd March, all students will participate in AFL Footy Clinics. These will be facilitated by North East AFL. All students are invited to wear footy colours on Thursday.
