Theatre IS Back!  

In 2022, Nossal will be staging two key productions. The first is the VCE Theatre Studies class’s interpretation of Tom Stoppard’s The Real Inspector Hound. The Real Inspector Hound is an absurdist murder mystery play full of twists and laughter.  

On Friday 18 February, the Unit 3 & Unit 1 Theatre Studies began pitching their initial ideas of staging their production of Tom Stoppard’s The Real Inspector Hound. This marks the official development and rehearsal phase of the production. The students in VCE Theatre Studies will be designing, performing, and directing their interpretation of Tom Stoppard’s classic murder mystery. Over the next few weeks students will be developing and rehearsing their ideas for a performance on June 2.  

In addition, the Drama Captains 2022: Nathan Orrell, Jack Moeller and Cecilia Liu, alongside Ms Denman and myself ran auditions for the school’s production of Peter Pan. More details on the cast and process to come!

This year, we will be updating you on the rehearsal process to give you an insight into the world of Performing Arts at Nossal.  

Rehearsals for the school production will commence in Week 5 on Tuesday and Friday lunchtime. Students should check MS Teams for the latest information. Backstage students will be meeting Thursday lunchtime in the Art Rooms.
