New - Indigenous Education around the Classrooms

5/6 Area

Today the Yr 5/6s were learning more about the Torres Strait Island flag and the significance of the colours blue, green, white and black.

The students in 5/6 GW and TJ joined Marissa in making a Torres Strait Islander keyring.

1/2 Area

The Yr 1/2s have been learning about dances from around the world. Today Marissa taught them how to use their body to dance like some of our native animals such as an emu and kangaroo.
