Lest we forget

Remembrance Day

Every year at 11am on 11 November—the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month—we pause to remember those men and women who have served and those who have died in all wars and peacekeeping operations.

Our School Captains led a ceremony with the students and observed a minute of silence today to honour the fallen.

Lest we forget

Speech Nights

The Year 5 Students excelled with their speech nights this week and their performances were full of humour, passion and confidence.

The audiences were held spellbound by the amazing public speaking skills of the students who presented their original speeches on a range of topics and focused on volume, pace, expression, audience participation and using hand gestures.

The audiences of over 60 family members and friends gave great feedback afterwards. What a brilliant way to prepare for their Year 6 responsibilities and beyond!

The New Playground is Open

The new playground is finally open. The children have loved exploring this new space and the water pump has certainly been a hit. We are awaiting some further works including the removal and rejuvenation of the planter boxes, a concrete path to connect the two areas and some seating for some quieter play spaces.

We welcome you to this new play space on the weekends to explore further with your families.

Going to the Chapel

Congratulations to Amanda Lennon this weekend as she prepares to marry Luke. We wish you all the very best and remember if it rains on your wedding day it is supposed to bring you good luck!

Have a great weekend with your family and friends
